Strengthening environmental and social safeguards ensures that potential adverse impacts are avoided, minimized, or mitigated, while demonstrating compliance to development partners and stakeholders.

Environmental safeguards training in Africa is crucial for preventing harm to communities and the environment during development projects. These policies support risk assessment during project planning and implementation, ensuring positive outcomes and effective risk management.

Objectives of the Training

Enhance environmental and social sustainability of projects by analyzing benefits and costs.
