Mentorship

The Mentorship and Innovation Programme is made up of three parts: innovation hub, capacity building workshops, learning in action, and coaching retreats. The program will be designed in a manner that the students will be taken on a journey to demystify environmental leadership, business sustainability, green investments, and partnerships for sustainable development by delving into case studies and learning from discussions and group work with a clear hands-on focus tailored to the understanding of human and business impacts and best practices.   The teaching and practical sessions will foster a strong combination of theory and practice, ensuring interactions with experts and practitioners. Training will rely not only on classroom style of teaching but interaction, visualization, application, facilitation, moderation, and ongoing evaluation. A joint excursion will be organized after each session to additionally cater to the creative learning environment. The program will operate in a continuum but also as a catalyst to multiply knowledge, skills, and good practices in business sustainability, environmental leadership, green economy, and sustainable development. It will combine technical know-how, applied research, and academic courses to deliver first-rate classroom and field-based learning. At the same time, it will provide a collaborative space to formulate forward-thinking ideas for the private sector’s commitments to sustainable development goals and Paris Agreement’s implementation phase. The program will build a creative learning environment around some core principles to ensure a more tangible experience for the participants. The participants will go through the program as cohorts to share experiences and learn from each other. To help participants to think outside the box, they are going to spend time in particular organizations, companies, and business innovation labs to explore design thinking and learn new concepts to tackle different situations in the ever-changing world.
